RMC is currently developing a wireless digital video system that provides high quality video transmission and reception in dense urban environments. The design will provide high performance features such as simultaneous transmission of video, stereo audio, and data over a single RF signal, MPEG-2 compression and decompression for excellent quality video and audio, and Triple Data Encryption Standard (3DES) or Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption and decryption to provide a high level of security. The system will be operational in late 2003.
