Listed below are a few examples of some of RMC's recent IT projects.

RMC was contracted by one of its customers to assist with the development of a more robust system than the static HTML-based site it maintained at the time. RMC responded by developing a dynamic, database-driven site with truly dynamic content, which included dynamic forms and checklists and enabled the customer to update the site in real time. Proficiency with dynamic GIS map servers allowed RMC to tightly integrate dynamic map services in the site.

Another customer approached RMC with stacks of hard copy documents and disks and requested that RMC develop a Computer Based Training (CBT) course covering the material contained in the documents. RMC provided the customer with a Flash-based training solution, including a database of questions covering the material presented in the course. The customer was pleased and has returned for additional CBT development initiatives.

RMC was tasked with evaluating the security of a corporate network. RMC developed a comprehensive Information Assurance Assessment that included an analysis of relevant policies, employee knowledge, and technical reviews of the network implementation, disaster recovery strategies, access controls, virus protection systems and physical security as it applies to information assurance. RMC provided guidance for improving the security of the network, training employees, and suggested a strategy for continued improvement of the security posture of the corporate information processing resources.

RMC has experience in all aspects of network design, implementation, and support. We have staff with experience designing and implementing servers utilizing Microsoft Windows operating systems, RedHat Linux, ArcIMS, Oracle, and MS Project Central. Our staff can recommend and implement wireless or wired Ethernet infrastructures, and make recommendations and assist with corporate Internet accessibility. We can also evaluate networks with regard to security and assist with implementation of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Remote Access Servers and Web Servers for Internet and Intranet sites.
