Environmental Management System Support
We are providing support for the implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS) for the National Naval Medical Center via Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering Field Activity, Chesapeake. Our team is responsible for the development of the Station EMS implementation instructions, an EMS training program, management personnel training, and a Station EMS System Gap Analysis Reporting.

Pollution Prevention Programs
RMC developed pollution prevention programs and plans for three large Department of the Navy installations (NAS Patuxent River, NAWC Lakehurst, NSWC Dahlgren). We also served as the primary developers of the NAS Patuxent River and NAWC Lakehurst Pollution prevention programs, which won the Secretary of the Navy's Pollution Prevention award for 1997 and 1998 respectively.

Integrated Contingency Planning
Our team of environmental consultants is providing NAS Patuxent River with senior engineering expertise to develop and implement the Navy's most advanced and progressive Integrated Contingency Planning (ICP) effort onboard NAS Patuxent River. The ICP effort includes SPCCs, Facility Response Plans (FRP), and Spill Contingency Plans (SCP), concerns as well as contingency related media areas such as drinking water, air episode, risk management planning, force protection and related GIS systems integration.

Range Sustainability and Planning Services
RMC is providing support and expertise on Navy range planning, Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) development, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) management for NAS Patuxent River and NSWC Dahlgren.

EPA Risk Assessment Modeling
We are supporting activities to enhance the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Multimedia, Multipathway, and Multireceptor Risk Assessment (3MRA) model. This task includes supporting the testing of the model and implementing the model for a selected list of chemical constituents.
