The RMC Information Technology (IT) Division supports clients both internal and external to the organization. Whether internal or external, we are committed to supporting our clients so that they are at maximum performance levels while doing their job and have ready access to the most effective toolsets and technologies.

We strive to ensure that the most appropriate technology is available, understandable, and useable. We recognize that every client has a client. Our goal is to maximize our client’s ability to process information and share knowledge effectively with those they serve.

Our software engineering team excels in developing custom software and database solutions, as well as COTS implementation and integration. Our Information Assurance Team specializes in IT system certification and accreditation (C&A) and has experience both certifying systems and working on client certification teams.

The IT Center of Excellence is spearheading the CMMI process improvement initiative currently underway at RMC, striving to constantly improve the effectiveness and maturity of our business processes. The RMC IT Division has the capability and experience to provide end-to-end IT solutions in a variety of different business disciplines. From needs analysis to implementation, training, and support, we apply mature and proven processes at a practical level throughout the lifecycle of our products and projects.

NAVAIR Ranges Sustainability Office
Engineering and Geospatial Support of Range Operational and Environmental Management
Provide on-and off-site IT services to the NAVAIR Ranges at Patuxent River, MD; China Lake, CA; and Pt. Mugu, CA.

• Sustainability, environmental management, National Environmental Policy Act planning, encroachment, outreach, and mission operation analyses through the use of IT tools
• Development and maintenance of a sonic boom prediction tool and analysis of aircraft flight paths to support community disturbance response and mitigation
• Operational environmental planning internet and intranet websites
• Populate department data stores and identify aquisition data and maintenance requirements

Environmental and Energy Program Management Support
Design, develop, and implement a web portal used to manage ISO 14001 Environmental Management System data and other TSA environmental program information.

• Complete system lifecycle to support the creation of an Environmental Management System portal
• Host “.gov” website at RMC facilities
• User help desk support and classroom training for portal users
• Certified staff to ensure Federal Information Security Management Act and network infrastructure compliance, including certification and accreditation activities and software changes
